Meet Our Team
Mimie Helm
Mimie Helm has been the Executive Director of the KSF since the beginning of 2020.
A graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, she held various positions in marketing, corporate advertising, and project management for what is now known as Verizon. Mimie has served on Boards for elementary, secondary, and collegiate Catholic educational institutions. She and her husband, Rob, are the proud parents of two adult daughters who were both recipients of the Marion I. and Henry J. Knott Scholarship at the secondary level.
She enjoys walking on the Camino de Santiago, reading, and yoga.
Barb Florenzo
Our KSF Accountant is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland.
After graduation, she worked for Deloitte & Touche and attributes passing the CPA exam from the study habits gained from 12 years of Catholic School. She spent over 10 years in financial services until staying home to raise her three sons. Upon returning to the workforce, she managed the payroll functions at a local company. Barb joined the KSF team in late 2021 where she feels she can use all her experiences to support and promote catholic education.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, travelling to new places, and training her pup Bella.
Anne Wisniewski
Earning a master’s degree in School Library Media from McDaniel College in 2005, Mrs. Wisniewski worked in the library at Notre Dame Preparatory School until 2018. She joined the KSF office in 2020.
Currently, she oversees the Knott Scholar Guide Program and the Knott Scholar Council, providing support and leadership opportunities to secondary Knott Scholars. She is excited to expand her efforts to include elementary scholars. She maintains the database of current scholar information and checks each scholar’s grades at the end of every marking period.
An avid reader and quilter, Mrs. Wisniewski also loves hiking and crafting with her grandchildren.
Bailey Jenkins
A Towson University graduate and former 1st Grade educator, Mrs. Jenkins joined Knott Scholarship Funds in 2023. She currently works as the Communications & Alumni Relations Manager.
Mrs. Jenkins is actively working on building a strong professional network for KSF scholars. Her goal is to connect former and current Knott Scholars in order to provide a variety of leadership opportunities, no matter what stage of life our scholars find themselves.
When she’s not working at KSF, Mrs. Jenkins loves volunteering in her community, cooking, spending time outside with her family, and running.
